About Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn Nets play in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of National Basketball Association (NBA). They have earned two league championships, five Division titles and two Conferences titles and are determined to outshine their opponents at the forthcoming event. So catch them live by purchasing Brooklyn Nets tickets and gear up for another nail-biting match.
The Nets play their home games at Barclays Center, a multi-purpose indoor arena having a capacity of 18,000 people. The arena opened in 2012 and is expected to provide high-profile sports and entertainment events in the future. They include boxing matches, circus performances and Atlantic 10 Conference Basketball Tournament. The world renowned artist Jay-Z sold out eight concerts during the arena’s inaugural season. Not only that, he also lent a hand in designing the team’s new logo. Moreover, recently, Barbra Streisand also performed at the arena twice and the inaugural game was played between Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards in October. Previously, the team has played at different arenas; Teaneck Armory, Long Island Arena, Prudential Center, and Izod Center being a few.
Looking back, Brooklyn Nets were established as American Basketball Association (ABA) franchise. They started off pretty strong paving way for players like Rick Barry and Levern Tart. However, it was the 1973-74 season that stood out the most for the team. Julius Erving turned out to be a force to reckon with as he helped the team in placing a record of 55 victories. As a result, leading them to the playoffs and eventually grabbing the first ABA championship in 1974 against Utah Stars. The next season was even bigger and better as the Nets surpassed their own record by winning 58 games. Thus, again walking away with the league title in 1975-76 season against Denver Nuggets.
After moving to Brooklyn, the Nets chose Barclays Center for their home games while also coming up with new team colors; black and white. In addition to that, a reinvented logo also came to the fore. Thus, the rebranding of the team also made a stark difference in the merchandise.  Today they rank at number seven on the list of top-selling teams at the NBA store. Speaking of the reinvention, the team also said farewell to their previous mascot named Duncan which has been replaced by Brooklyn Knight. As far as the upcoming match is concerned, the new and improved Brooklyn Nets are all set to take the field. To find out if they live up to people’s expectations grab cheap Brooklyn Nets tickets.
