When we talk about Techno or Electronic music, one thing that comes to our mind is Dance. And when we say dance, it is an obvious assumption that this kind of music has to be fast paced, energizing and adrenaline filled. All of those who happen to be diehard fans of the genre exactly know what we are talking about here. But for those of you who happen to be unaware of Techno Music, we’ll just say that you don’t need coffee to boost yourself up once you have Techno music going through your ears. Techno music is one part of a much bigger genre, which is Electronic Dance Music. Electronic Dance Music is primarily targeted to make people bounce mostly at the parties or at the night clubs and discos. However Techno is more about the aesthetics of the music and has some meaning in addition to having a futuristic sound to it. Techno beautifully gives the urban touch (by adding the electronic drums etc.) to the base of classical German Electronic music, making it a lot more appealing to one’s ears.
The history of the techno music goes all the way back to the Detroit of 1980s. Back then the foundation of such music was laid by Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson and Eddie Fowlkes. Upon giving out the interpretation of his work, Juan Atkins described techno music as the “music that sounds like technology, and not technology that sounds like music, meaning that most of the music you listen to is made with technology, whether you know it or not. But with techno music, you know it”. Since it came out as something new and unique, it inspired and influenced many.
The electronic music on the other hand is entirely and literally electronic music. Although the two may sound the same, but there is a lot of difference between the sounds of both of these genres and both of them are different and distinct in their own way. For those who are not really familiar with this genre of music, it can be defined as music that is made entirely out of electronic methods which may include synthesizing, and sampling.
The way for the electronic music was originally paved by Lee DeForest back in 1906 when he invented triode audion. Audion was the blue print, on the basis of which, things like radio broadcasting, electrical instruments etc. came in to being.
The popularity of the Electronic music went atop back in the late 80s, as more and more people starting delving in that kind of electronic music. From that time, till today, Electronic music has always been the most happening genre of our time, and is played in almost every other night club out there.
One thing that overlaps in both of these genres is the fast pace of the music, and that’s perhaps the only thing. Apart from that they’re quite different from each other and contain uniqueness within themselves.
Presently there are several musicians out there who are doing really well in both of these genres, and have been making people boogie for quite some time. So if you want to get your groove on, we say that you grab your Techno Electronic Tickets at cheap rates from here.
