Monster Truck Show Cities

Mud bogging and truck pulling is the inspiration behind Monster Jam Tucks Show. It was during 70s when low rides were no longer in fashion and the car freaks went for showy rides. So modified pickup trucks were what young folks and mature hardcore men wanted to drive. Then the truck owners wanted more suspension for their trucks to lift them higher and appear bigger, that was followed by regular competitions to decide which one is the biggest truck. In the beginning of this big truck fashion, Bigfoot is a widely known and praised truck. It was owned by Bob Chandler. The idea of crushing other vehicles under these huge truck tires was presented was also presented by Chandler. He did so to check the Bigfoot’s strength. A promotion video of this event became the reason for arranging a bigger and more formal show of it. He was asked to do it in public, he agreed and today car crushing is a part of the show.

Bigfoot’s popularity introduced the Monster Truck fashion to a larger audience in other states of the United States Other truck drivers maneuvered their rides and many of them claimed to have been the first truck owner to have crushed a car under the giant wheel of his truck. Other known Monster Trucks of the 70s are: Bigger Foot, High Roller, Cyclops, King Kong, Bear Foot, King Krunch and Virginia Giant. These monster trucks entertained people on roads and many truck fans travelled from other city to watch them. It was a motorsport promotion guy named Bob George from Truck-a-rama who first thought of showcasing Bigfoot crushing other smaller cars live before an audience. Truck-a-ram is now known as USHRA and is believed to have coined the phrase "Monster Trucks" for these big wheelers. Keeping in view the popularity of Monster Trucks, major promoters hold these shows on regular basis.

In the 80s, these Monster Truck Shows were an exhibition of trucks mud bogging and pulling objects. By the mid of the decade, truck racing was introduced by TNT Motorsports and USHRA as a regular event. This race made truck owners realize the importance of light weight trucks with a stronger engine. With time, rules and standards for Monster Truck Shows were developed. To maintain public interest and ensure Drivers’ safety, vehicles’ design and its weight, race tracks, gadgets and driving techniques needed to be standardized. For this purpose, Monster Truck Racing Association was created in 1988 by George Carpenter, Braden and Bob Chandler.

Monster trucks are now built with light material like fiberglass and special techniques are used to give it strong and stable suspension. During the show and race, drivers are to wear helmets, firesuits, head and neck restraints and safety harnesses. Jurassic Attack, Batman Truck, Grave Digger, Black Stallion, Cowboy, Dominator, Dragon Breath, Hot Tamale, Iron Outlaw, The Patriot, U.S Air Force Afterburner, Wolverine, War Wizard, Virginia Giant and Nasty Boy, Predator, Shocker. Spike Unleashed, The Destroyer, Unnamed and Untamed are some of the known Monster Trucks. Come-on people, grab your Monster Truck Show tickets as soon as possible.
