The Denver Nuggets joined the basketball landscape in the year 1967and were one of ABA' charter teams. Their stay in the ABA brought their way three division titles before they made the move to the NBA in 1976. The Nuggets hit the ground running in their new surroundings and won two divisions titles in 1977 and 1978. The Nuggets clinched two more in 1985 and 1988. They encountered a bit of a slump after that but then bounced back to win three more division crowns in 2006, 2009 and 2010.

The Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors were formed in 1946 and began to play in the BAA. They won the Championship in the first season and then made the move to the NBA after the 1948-1949 season. The Warriors won the NBA Championship in 1945 and then in 1975 before hitting a slump. They bounced back in 2015 by winning the division title, the conference and the NBA Championship. Overall, they have won 6 BAA and NBA Championships combined. They have also won 10 conference titles and 6 division championships over the years.

The games between the Nuggets and the Warriors should be very fascinating to say the least. The latter might be the more successful side of the two but the Nuggets have the edge in the head-to-head.
