Paul Pierce’s number 34 finally went to the rafters at the TD Garden. Before the Celtics’ home clash against the Cavaliers, the franchise held a ceremony to officially retire Pierce’s jersey. Pierce has more than earned the honor as well. His is the twenty second jersey to be retired by the Boston Celtics and he now joins the likes of Larry Bird, Reggie Lewis and Robert Parish among others.
