About Tap The Show

Tap the Show features dancers and choreographers belonging to Broadway. The show consists of different segments and each features iconic tap dances including numbers from Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire. The music includes flamenco, soft shoe as well as Irish step dancing. This dynamic tap dance production includes soaring orchestra scores accompanied by colorful costumes and skillful dancing moments. Those who enjoy tap dance, fun and upbeat music, this is the perfect way to spend an evening. Besides, the fans get to see the best tap dancers from across the globe on one stage.
This year the cast of Tap the Show includes some of the finest choreographers and dancers. On the list are Michelle Fortner, Carissa Gravelle, Chris Large, Sebastian Goldberg, Maria Logan, Sarah Mangold, Michael Love, Aaron Parkhurst and many more. Michelle Fortner is a dancer of third generation, choreographer and teacher. Originally belonging to the city of rising stars, Nashville, she has been able to entertain crowd across the country including cities like Hershey and Branson. She has recently worked for Taylor Swift’s tour named Fearless. She also performed at the CMT Video Music Awards 2009. Thought she is an expert in many dancing styles, her real passion lies in tap dancing.

Sebastian Goldberg, the contributing dancer and choreographer for the show studied dancing professionally at the Dance Inn and belongs to Massachusetts. He has been performing all across the country in cities like New York, Chicago, and California. He has also performed at the International Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Carissa Gravelle is among the dancers and belongs to Albany, New York. He started to learn dancing when he was only three. Goldberg has been in the team of some of the most well known choreographers of the country.
Maria Logan is a singer and contributing choreographer as well as the company manager for Tap the Show. Logan had passion for music, dancing and singing since she was a child. She has a Bachelors degree in Music in Musical Theatre and has performed in several shows at different venues across the country. Chris Large is going to be among the list of dancers for the show as well. He has performed in several renowned tap shows of the country and has recently started dancing for Tap the Show and is very excited about the experience.
Tap the Show is also going to feature Michael Love as the contributing choreographer. He has been with the MDP since 2011 and has contributed for several productions. He is known for performing with Boston Tap Company, Tappers with Attitude and Cats Paying Dues PLUS. Apart from these dancing stars, there are several other vibrant and young dancers performing for Tap the Show this year as well. These include Sarah Mangold, Aaron Parkhurst, Kathleen Voss and Soren Wohler as the young cast. The touring show also features Steve Michael Black and Andrew McCharen. These two are mainly responsible for the upbeat tunes and the dazzling lightning effects. Tap the Show is going to refresh you and will treat you to fun-filled time.
