Jabbawockeez Tickets

The Jabbawockeez crew is all male and consists of six members. During their performances, they wear white masks and gloves at all times so that the audience cannot distinguish between the individual crew members and can thus focus on their collective dance moves; these white accessories are their visual signature. Jabbawockeez was founded in 2003 in San Diego, California by Phil Tayag, Kevin Brewer, and Joe Larot, who were already dancing together in Sacramento as the Three Musky. The group started performing in 2004 as a nine-member crew. Winning the show America's Best Dance Crew in 2008 provided the biggest boost to the Jabbawockeez career; in this show, they performed as a seven-member crew. Jeff Nguyen moved to Los Angeles, California from his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona to pursue his dancing career. The twenty-six-year-old dancer has been dancing for the last eleven years and is now also an instructor for hip-hop dancing. Rynan Shawn had a flair for dance since childhood; he started break dancing when he was eleven. Ben Chung is from Mission Hills, California and is now both a dance performer and a dance teacher. His dancing career began after his graduation from high school; also known as Ben B-Tek Chung, this amazing dancer is of Chinese descent. Kevin Brewer is from Sacramento, California and is an Apple Certified Technician. Apart from dancing, he also produces music and has been an emcee. Phil Tayag hails from Sacramento, California; originally, he was a garage dancer and is also into music production. He is also a father of two children. Chris Gatdula belongs to Las Vegas and has a degree in New Media Emphasis; he also works as a part-time dance instructor.

At the auditions, they danced to Tony Yayo's "We Came to Party" and received positive feedback from all the judges. Over the next few weeks of the show, they continued to receive excellent responses from the three judges and standing ovations from the studio audience. For their third week performance, they managed to successfully portray that they were defying gravity. In Week five, during the Michael Jackson Challenge, the crew's performance of "Pretty Young Thing" was hailed by Randy Jackson as one of the 10 Best Performances of All Time on the show. In week seven, they faced Kaba Modern for a position in the finals and their excellent performance depicting the history of hip-hop took them there. In the Live Finale, they performed "Tell Me When to Go" by E-40 and beat their opponents Status Quo hands down to win the show as well as one hundred thousand dollars. At this stage, they took off their white masks for the first time on the show.

After their success, the Jabbawockeez got some commercials and also appeared on popular television dance shows. They also went on tour with New Kids on the Block. In February 2009, they danced with Shaquille O'Neal at the introduction of the NBA All-Star Game. The Jabbawockeez appeared on America's Next Top Model and introduced a clothing line as well. They have made several special appearances on the show America's Best Dance Crew. In the charity special for Season 5, they performed along with We Are Heroes, Super Crew, Quest Crew, and Poreotix. They also danced alone to "The Final Countdown" and mesmerized television and live audiences. This performance won them rave reviews from audiences and critics alike.

In 2009, they toured Australia and performed in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. In October of that same year, they danced at the University of Florida's Gator Growl in front of thirty thousand spectators. In May 2010, they launched their own Las Vegas show at the MGM Grand Hollywood Theatre. They returned to Las Vegas in August for another week of dazzling dance performances. They now showcase their dance skills at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino. Surprisingly original and genuinely bedazzling hip-hop dancing is synonymous with Jabbawockeez tickets.
