With the time various companies were opened there and finally Russian National Ballet Theater was established in late 1980’s in Moscow. Since then, the company has made a remarkable progress in the world of ballet dancing under the management of Andrew S. Grossman.

In the middle of 1990’s a legendary principal dancer was selected by the Presidential declaration to be the first artistic director of the Russian National Ballet. He is none other than Elena Radchenko. He is known for creating artistic works which add diversity to the culture of Russia and the world. The principal dancers came from the higher ranks of various famous academies of Russia and the great ballet companies. Many of the great choreographers and dancers from the ballet companies such as Riga, Warsaw and Kiev contributed to its ultimate success. The company has more than 80 dancers of vast experience and singular instruction. Many of the great dancers have won international recognition; they are also winners of the esteemed competitions. Some of the successful dancers are Maxim Romanov, Nadezhda Ivanova, Kristina Pavinskaya, Andrey Shalin and Veronica Zemliakova.

They have mastered well the art of modern dance, classical, character and light jazz. This theater has given classical Russian Ballet a new charter of life. The theater’s most famous classical performances like Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Scotland Suite, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliette, Gala Concert and Sleeping Beauty. The music of Bach, Ravel, Mozart and many others add variety and to the Russian Ballet performance. Swan Lake is the most popular and loved of all ballets by the producer Evgeny Amosov.
