The musical is an awe-inspiring dramatization of how the two witches’ lives take a turn and one turns out to be the ‘Good Witch of the North’ and the other transforms into the ‘Wicked Witch of the West’. Their contradicting perspectives and personalities, common love interest, the corrupt wizard government and the eventual fall of Elphaba are some of the various happenings in the storyline. The musical has been put together in a touching manner keeping the spectators glued to the performance. Directed by Joe Mentello, choreography by Wayne Cilento and produced by Universal Studio in collaboration with David Stone and Marc Platt, the musical has already won the hearts of millions of fans for about a decade now and the number is increasing with each of its performances until now.

Wicked has won three Tony Awards, six Drama Desk Awards, and one Grammy Award since its inaugural performance in 2003. The record breaking musical is now performing in Durham NC.
