Scottish-born American musician, singer, record producer, songwriter, actor, filmmaker, artist and writer David Byrne is one of rock music’s biggest names. The multi-talented performer first came to prominence in 1975 as part of the new wave band Talking Heads. Byrne was the guitarist, main songwriter and lead vocalist of the group.

From 1975 till 1991, Talking Heads released eight studio albums. Seven of these were certified Gold or higher by the RIAA. After the group disbanded in 1991, Byrne embarked on a successful solo career which is still going strong today.
