Cleveland Browns Tickets
Grab your Cleveland Browns tickets and catch a team on the rise play live. The Cleveland Browns had been in a slump, but they finally managed to make their mark in 2020. The franchise made it to the postseason for the first time since 2002. They went all the way to the divisional playoffs where they came up short against the eventual Super Bowl finalists, the Kansas City Chiefs. Nevertheless, it was a successful campaign for the Browns after spending so much time on the sidelines and watching other sides play in the playoffs. Now the challenge is to take the next step. Will they be able to rise to the occasion in 2022 as well? Book your tickets to find out.
Get your Cleveland Browns tickets and catch one of the most historic sides in the NFL in action live.
Cleveland Browns – A Proud Tradition
The Cleveland Browns have won plenty of championships over the years.
AAFC Championships – 4.
NFL Championships – 4.
Super Bowl – 0.
Conference Championships – 11.
Division Championships – 12.
The Cleveland Browns were formed in the year 1944 and began playing as one of the charter members of the now defunct, All-America Football Conference (AAFC). When the league went bust in 1949, the franchise jumped ship to join the National Football League (NFL). In the four years that the AAFC was in existence, the Cleveland Browns were crowned champions in every season.
They did not take their foot off the pedal in the NFL either. They won seven division titles in their first eight seasons. On top of that, during the same period, the Browns played in seven NFL Championship games, winning three. They also managed to get their hands on a whopping seven conference titles during the 1950s, the most glorious era in the team’s history.
Cleveland Browns Rivalries
The Cleveland Browns have rivalries with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cincinnati Bengals
The Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals have a very fierce rivalry. The animosity between the two sides developed because of two reasons. First is the geography because Cleveland and Cincinnati are in the Northeast and the Southeast respectively of the state of Ohio. Secondly, Paul Brown, who was a legendary coach of the Cleveland Browns, was fired by Art Modell. Brown did not take that too well and he went on to form his own team which was the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals were formed as members of the AFL but after the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, these two sides were put in the same division. It has just carried on from there.
Pittsburgh Steelers
There is absolutely no love lost between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers. It is a historic rivalry that remains the oldest rivalry in the National Football League. The animosity stems from the fact that these two cities have more than one thing in common. It is also known as the “Turnpike Rivalry” because most of the driving routes between Cleveland and Pittsburgh go through Ohio and Pennsylvania Turnpikes.
