Pierce The Veil Tickets

Hailing from San Diego, California, Pierce The Veil was founded in 2006 by the brothers Mike and Vic Fuentes after their previous band, Early Times, disbanded. This band was a popular band within the punk rock scene in San Diego. A year later, in 2007, Pierce The Veil came out with their first album, A Flair for the Dramatic, which was very popular. From then onwards, Pierce The Veil has released a number of albums as well as been part of famous international tours touring all over the world. The two brothers, Vic Fuentes and Mike Fuentes, founded their first band in 1998, a band known as Early Times. Through this band, they released the recording No Turning Back that contained eleven spectacular songs that became very popular in San Diego.

This was followed by two more EPs that led to the band being signed onto Equal Vision Records with the band members just graduated from high school. Soon after, they released their first album, A Celebration of an Ending under the name Before Today. After other members of Before Today left the band, the two brothers formed Pierce The Veil and while still signed onto Equal Vision Records, they released their debut album in 2007, A Flair for the Dramatic, a release under the band name Pierce The Veil. New members joined the band and Pierce The Veil began a journey as part of a new legacy.

One of the songs from this amazing post hardcore band’s first album, I'd Rather Die Than Be Famous, was featured in the wildly popular video game, Tony Hawks Proving Ground, with the band then touring heavily after their debut release. To date, Pierce The Veil have been seen on tour alongside famous bands that include A Day to Remember, From First to Last, Chiodos, Emery, Mayday Parade and The Devil Wears Prada. The same year this band released their first album, they performed live at the Vans Warped Tour held in 2007, a very amazing achievement for a new band.

The next year, in 2008, Pierce The Veil were again seen live this time at the Bamboozle Left and the same year, Pierce The Veil performed at their very first headlining tour titled as The Delicious Tour. This tour featured several bands including Breathe Carolina, Emarosa and Four Letter Lie. In 2009, Pierce The Veil were again seen live with high profile and famous bands that included Bring Me the Horizon, Four Year Strong, Thursday and Cancer Bats as part of Taste of Chaos’s 2009 Tour. In 2010, after months of work, Pierce The Veil released their second studio album, Selfish Machines.

This was a phenomenal album that ranked first on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, an awesome achievement for Pierce The Veil. To support this album, Pierce The Veil was seen live at numerous festivals including some of the greatest American festivals that included Bamboozle Left, Never Say Never Festival, SXSW South by Southwest and the Vans Warped Tour. One of this band’s songs, Don’t Fear The Reaper, a cover of the Blue Oyster Cults song was part of the Punk Goes Classic Rock album compilation with the band also touring to Australia and New Zealand as well as over to Japan. In 2011, Pierce The Veil were signed onto the major label, Fearless Records, a sign that this is truly a band you need to see and hear live for the most mind blowing post hardcore and rock music, via Pierce The Veil Tickets.
