An all time favorite musical based on Gaston Leroux’s novel, speaks the heart and mind of a deformed orchestra composer. A gothic cavern under the opera stage houses his desolate life burdened with remorse and aggression. The only color in his life is his love a young Soprano whom her trains in pursuit of love. A suitor seems to drain all the color he has taken from the Soprano, hence begins to haunt the Opera with series of murders, acts of passion and revenge to satiate his anger. The soprano eventually falls for his honest heart and feelings, leaving everything behind.
The team for the Phantom brings together the good old director Hal Prince along with old cast. Gillian Lynne has brought life to every note of the music score with his choreography. Andrew Lloyd Webber along with other members of the original cast appears on this one hour and thirty-five minute musical.
