The Rat Pack Tickets

The Rat Pack was a very famous supergroup which was formed in the 60s. The band included some of the most successful singers and actors of that time, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Frank Sinatra. The band has now been brought back to life thanks to Dick Feeny who created a tribute show titled, The Rat Pack is Back by hiring, Drew Anthony, Kyle Diamond and David DeCosta. The emergence of The Rat Pack

The world saw the emergence of the supergroup, The Rat Pack in the 60s. Apart from Sinatra, Lawford, Martin and Davis, stars like, Joey Bishop, Angie Dickinson, Buddy Greco, Juliet Prowse, Marilyn Monroe and Shirley Maclaine were also part of the band. They were referred to as, ‘Rat Pack Mascots.’ These four megastars took the entertainment industry by storm and whenever one of the members of the band would be scheduled to perform, the rest of the pack would join him. That used to create excitement among the fans. The group went on to play sold out shows around Las Vegas and people used to sleep in cars and hotel lobbies when they could not find rooms, just to see The Rat Pack live.

Besides by playing music, the group also starred in multiple films. The first flick in which all the members of The Rat Pack appeared was titled, ‘Ocean’s 11’ and it came out in 1960. The movie received three and a half stars out of five from IMDb. The next film in which the band starred was called, ‘Sergeants 3’ which was also met with positive reviews from the critics. The Rat Pack continued to wow the world and acted in two more films, ‘The Cannonball Run’ and ‘The Cannonball Run 2’ before going on a hiatus.

The Return of The Rat Pack

In 1987, The Rat Pack decided to go on a road trip. Called, ‘Together Again’ they excited their fans by announcing 29 tour dates. They began the trek by performing their first show on March 13, 1988 in front of a sold out crowd of 14,500 at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena now known as the Oracle Arena. After playing five shows with the group, Dean Martin withdrew from the tour because of his kidney problem and was replaced by the Emmy, Oscar, Grammy and Tony winning actress and singer, Liza Minnelli. A year later in 1989, it was revealed that Sammy Davis was suffering from Throat Cancer which caused his death in 1990.  

The Rat Pack is Back!

Dick Feeney is the brain behind The Rat Pack is Back. It is a tribute show to the original supergroup and has been hailed as the next best thing to seeing the Original Rat Pack. So far, it has delivered over 6,000 performances in more than forty states. The show has also been praised by many publications including, the Charlotte Observer, the Chicago Star Review, Hot in Little Rock, the Scranton Times and the New Haven Advocate.

Led by three talented individuals, Kyle Diamond as Sammy Davis, David DeCosta as Frank Sinatra and Drew Anthony as Dean Martin, The Rat Pack is Back is setting out on a tour again.
