San Diego State Aztecs’ rowing team belongs to Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association and their football team belongs to the famous Big East Conference. Before that the football team played in West sports but was moved to Big East in 2013. Some of the famous names being Michael Cage, Jene Morris, Kawhi Leonard, Brandon Heath and Malcolm Thomas. In the recent 2010-2011 season, their men’s team made a very prominent record of 32-2. They also won the Mountain West Conference title and made it to NCAA basketball tournament. In the National Championship Tournament they stood at number two position, making the Aztec sports teams proud.
