North Carolina Tar Heels Tickets

The athletic teams at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are known as the North Carolina Tar Heels. The term "Tar Heels" is used to refer to individuals belonging to the state of North Carolina. The Chapel Hill campus of the University of North Carolina serves the purposes of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Fans and locals have given the Tar Heels many nicknames, including "The Heels," "Carolina," "UNC," and "North Carolina." The players hail to the playground singing their fight song: "I'm a Tar Heel Born, Here Comes Carolina". Their athletics director is Dick Baddour. The Heels' arch rivals are Duke, North Carolina State, and Wake Forest. Their intense rivalry with Virginia also attracts hordes of fans to sport arenas.
