Monster Jam begins its festivities with a Pit Party. A pre-show segment, it allows the attendees to get a close look at the monster trucks, ask their favorite drivers some questions and get their pictures taken. As soon as the Pit party wraps up, the crowd gets ready for some motorsports action, as the monster trucks get ready for racing rounds. Due to their massive size, only two trucks get to race at one time and the winners then take on each other until the champion is crowned. This is not your regular racing and is actually quite difficult considering that the trucks have to take sharp turns and move through obstacles, all the while maintaining speed and keeping the weight in mind. Monster Jam trucks weigh up to 12000 pounds and sit on top of 66 inches tires!

The most enjoyed event at the Monster Jam is Freestyle. In this segment, every truck and its driver is given a chance to impress the judges. The drivers give it their all, performing thrilling stunts and treating the crowd to daredevil acts like flipping and spinning in the air. In some recent events, trucks like Metal Mulisha, Team Hot Wheels Firestorm, Maximum Destruction and El Toro Loco have appeared as the top contenders.
