The event is a part of the 82 annual touring motorsport shows scheduled in the upcoming year. The upcoming Monster Jam event is part of the countless regular touring shows run by Feld Entertainment. Sponsored by Black Jack Speed Shop, KENT Powersports and MetroPCS, the upcoming showcase will follow the traditional format that includes two types of races; Freestyle and Racing. The freestyle event allows each driver to pull off as many tricks and stunts in a designated time period of 90 seconds. In some cases an additional 30 seconds are added to the time. At the end of each driver’s time, judges score the performance out of 10. The racing event presents a side-by-side racing format, which qualifies the winner of each race for the next race and a winner is determine after all but one driver remains.

The upcoming show will feature talented drivers from all over the world. These include Dennis Anderson, Alex Blackwell, Scott Buetow, Candice Jolly, Lupe Soza, Lee O’Donnell, Devin Jones, JR McNeal, Buddy Thompkins, Roy Pridgeon, Matt Paggliarulo, Mike Harper, Shane England, Bob Robbins and Lloyd Twitchell. With a total of 18 four-wheeled monster trucks, the upcoming show in San Antonio will feature non-stop entertainment. The Monster Jam shows are sanctioned by United States Hot Rod Association and events are held across America, Canada and Europe. Televised on SPEED, TNN, Fox Sports and CBS Sports Spectacular, Monster Jam has been around since the seventies.
