The Dixie Vodka 400 traces its root back to the year 1999 when the first race took place. Between 2002 and 2019, this race was the final event of the NASCAR Cup Series. The first race was won by Tony Stewart as he clocked in a time of 2:51:14 with an average speed of 140.335 miles per hour. It takes place at the famous Homestead-Miami Speedway and the total distance is a whopping 400.5 miles spread over 267 laps. The 2022 Dixie Vodka 400 took place on October 23, 2022 and was the NASCAP Cup Series’ 34^th race of the season. William Byron from Hendrick Motorsports took pole position but his teammate Kyle Larson came out on top.
