About The Texas Tenors

The Texas Tenors was formed in 2009 by country music singer JC Fisher, opera singer John Hagen and pop singer Marcus Collins. The group was among one of the four finalists in the fourth season of “America’s Got Talent”. Their performance throughout the show was splendid and much loved by the audiences. Starting with a crossover version of “Mountain Music”, they advanced through all stages performing the songs “God Bless the USA”, “Unchained Melody” and “My Way” and won fourth place.
The group released “The Texas Tenors” in 2009 and “You Should Dream” in 2013. The second album also contains a 65 piece orchestra and original songs produced by Academy Award and Grammy nominated Nigel Wright. These albums are fascinating and a unique blend of Classical, Country, Broadway and Gospel and are being sold worldwide. Their debut album “Country Roots_ Classical Sound” was the only independent album to be no. 1 on both Classical and Country Charts. The albums have been sold worldwide.
The trio consists of amazingly talented artists coming from different backgrounds and forming a perfect band together. Born in a small town, Marcus started singing when he was as young as four years. He was greatly inspired by George Michael and Rascal Flats and performed in numerous talent shows and fairs. He brings contemporary and popular element to the band. John is an astonishing artist known for his deep musical ventures. He has performed a vast array of operatic roles from title role in Otello for Claveland opera and Alfredo in La Traviata. Winner of many awards and competitions throughout his career, he is highly regarded for his performances and brings his wonderful abilities to the band. JC Fisher has been entertaining audiences for the past 15 years. With a Bachelor’s degree in Music, JC has travelled all around the world singing everything from Gospel to Country and have gained appreciation from all around. His solo shows are loved by people. He brings his passion of music and unique voice to the band. The three of them together have been producing music that captivates everyone.
The Texas Tenors are renowned for collaborating with numerous symphonies including Austin Symphony, Houston Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Prague Philharmonic and many others. The group has also performed for distinguished organizations like Mutual of Omaha, Van Cliburn Foundation, Planet Hollywood Resort, Royal Caribbean International, Pro Bull Riders and Auntry Foundation to name a few.
