The British glam rock band accounts for three studio albums altogether; Permission to Land, One Way Ticket to Hell…and Back and Hot Cakes. The debut album stole the first spot on the UK Albums Chart while landing at number 2 on Irish Albums Chart. It also succeeded in charting in other countries; Sweden, Australia, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and New Zealand being just a handful. Hot Leg on the other hand was Justin Hawkins’ band consisting of Pete Rinaldi, Darby Todd and Samuel SJ Stokes. Coming into existence in 2008, this venture also lasted for a short time as it remained active till 2010. The Darkness reunited in 2011 recreating their magic while doing shows in Norwich, Leamington and Bush Empire before performing at some of the most renowned festivals awaiting them. Darkness Announce 2020 North American Tour
British rock act The Darkness announces a new spring tour dubbed "Easter Is Cancelled.” The North American headlining tour is in support of their new record and gets underway on April 13 with a performance in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the Union Hall. The trek comes to an end in Chicago, Illinois at Park West on May 23. During the trek, the band will also play at festivals. The glam rockers intend to perform its new LP "Easter Is Cancelled", in full, along with other hits and fan favorites. The controversial album (because of its religious notions) is the sixth one by the band. It ruled the UK Rock and Metal chart and has been making a lot of noise.
