Unlike some of the pop acts of today, Jimmy Eat World didn’t earn its fair share of popularity as soon as its first single came out. The group had to work its way up the food chain while experimenting with its sound and lyrics all along. The group’s experiments finally struck a right balance of things in its 2001 release, after which the group has stayed a mainstream act with a sound fan base. And if you’re reading this, you’re probably one of the group’s fans, looking to catch it live this season. Well when you’ve made this far, why delay when you can get your Jimmy Eat World tickets for their upcoming concerts right away.
Jimmy Eat World formed back in 1993, and at the time the group decided to experiment with emocore genre, and came across other bands who were also working with the same type of genre. The band relentlessly kept on touring and released a couple of recordings as well, which drew the attention of many fans of the genre towards them. After the group earned a good amount of exposure on its own, it was then offered a record deal by Capitol Records, with whom the group worked and released its major label debut album called Static Prevails. The album featured mediocre hits, which gave its fans something to look forward to. Later the group released Clarity as its overall third studio album which featured group’s hit single Lucky Denver Mint. A remixed version of the song also made way on the radio, from where it earned its cult following.
And then came 2001, when the group released its follow up album called Bleed American. The album was released after the group scored a record deal with DreamWorks. The Middle was released as the second single from the album, and later it grew to be the group’s most successful single to date. After the release of Bleed American, the group embarked on an extensive concert tour on which it performed at various venues.
After working with a new producer, the group came up with Futures as its follow up album featuring hit singles like Pain, Polaris, and Work. Later on, the group decided to embark on a live concert tour yet again in 2005, and this time with Green Day. And as soon as the group set its foot back to its hometown, it started working on yet another studio album called Chase the Light which came out in in 2007. The year 2009 marked the tenth anniversary of the album Clarity, hence the group went on a concert tour on which it performed the whole album on each of its stop. The following year, the group came up with yet another studio album called Invented which received mediocre to positive reviews by most of the critics. The album peaked at #11 spot on U.S Billboard 200 Chart.
The group’s most recent and latest studio album is Damage which came out in 2013 on RCA Records. Following the release of the album, the group went out on a concert tour in support of its new studio release. The group hit various venues all across the country with its new material and fans caught it live in act with Jimmy Eat World tickets.
