The band signed up with the Interscope Records later in November 2011 and started working alongside Alex Da Kid as its producer. The group also worked with Alex Da Kid while it was recording its first major label studio release in West Hollywood at the Westlake Recording Studios. The first ever recording that Imagine Dragons released on Interscope was yet another E.P titled Continued Silence that came out digitally on February 14, 2012 and charted at #40 spot on Billboard 200.

Soon after, the group released It’s Time as its lead single and it soon turned out to be a major critical and commercial success. The single shot up to top five on Billboard Rock and Alternative Rock charts. By doing so, It’s Time became groups first top twenty single as well. The single remained on the Alternative Rock chart for a substantial amount of time, for which the single holds the record of longest run on the Top Ten Alternative Rock Charts in 2012. On April 17, 2012 the music video for the single made way on MTV and led the group to be crowned the title of MTV Push Artist of the Week. Following the enormous amount of sales as of November 2012, It’s Time received certified platinum status by RIAA. As of the music video, it went on to receive a nomination for the category of Best Rock Video at the MTV Video Music Award. Following this mainstream popularity, the band kept on catering the demands of its fans by performing live more than often. To record its debut full length studio album, the group started the recording process in Palms Casino Resort at Studio X in Las Vegas. By the summer of 2012, the group was done recording its debut album titled Night Visions, and subsequently released the album on September 4, 2012. With more than 83,000 copies sold within its first week of sales, the album shot up to the #2 spot on Billboard 200 Chart. Moreover on the Rock Album and Billboard Alternative Charts, the album peaked at #1 spot. After doing so, Night Visions became the first rock album to peak that high on the charts since 2006. With this release, Imagine Dragons caused quite a stir and attracted positive reviews from all over. The group was also crowned the title of 2012’s Brightest New Stars by Billboard Magazine.

Since their mainstream popularity, the group has also been on several television shows including Later Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Jimmy Kimmel. Its songs are also featured on the trailers of various Hollywood feature films as well. The group has also been on a sold out concert tour in 2012 all across United States Canada and Europe.

The Imagine Dragons are kicking off their world concert tour, Smoke and Mirrors Tour soon. The tour is in support of the rock band’s latest album of the same name, released in February, 2015. The band is excited to perform its latest hits such as “If it comes back to you,” “Dream,” “I’m so sorry” and “I bet my life” live. Imagine Dragons Release Two Back-to-Back Albums

Released on June 23, 2017, “Evolve” is the third album of the Grammy winning band.
