Music has been through incalculable transformations over the years. It changes with every passing year as new artists attempt to make something long lasting and wholly unique. Their main aim is to make a mark on the music industry through their musical prowess yet not all have the power to achieve this goal. However the few, who do, ensure that their names live on in memory for years to come.
Been that Way
One up and coming artist who is attempting to do just that is Bryson Tiller. This relative newcomer to the music industry, started his career from the lowest rung of society and is now slowly making his way to the top. He is doing this by making music that is fresh and that the fans can identify with. His songs depict the real life decisions and emotions, as well as the trials and tribulations that the common man faces every day. And he manages to accomplish all of this through music that manages to bring together two very different genres. If you want to see him work his magic on stage for yourself, then you can. All you need are your Bryson Tiller tickets and you can head down to the venue for a concert you soon won’t forget.
The Story
Bryson Djuan Tiller was born in 1993 and went through a difficult childhood while growing up in Louisville, Kentucky. His mother had passed away when he was only four years old, leaving four boys behind. They had to work for everything in life and music became an escape as it was one of the few things he enjoyed in life. He soon dropped out of school to get a job. He worked several low paying jobs. Around this time he also had a baby, a little daughter, who added to his responsibilities, with nobody but himself to help out.
Sorry Not Sorry
Even though he was besieged by so many problems, Tiller never gave up on his dream of having a music career. He had been working on his rapping and singing ever since he was a kid and he had been busy working on original material as well. He continuously updated his page on social media and audio distribution website SoundCloud. After years worth of uploads, he finally started creating some buzz in the online community and through just the word of mouth his popularity grew around the country.
In 2011, Tiller decided to make a mixtape, so he released ‘Killer Instinct Vol. 1’ later that year. The EP had eleven songs on it and was very well received by many of his online fans. However it failed to create enough buzz in the mainstream and it would be another four years before Tiller would take such a chance again. He did not give up however and kept working on his music. As his songs got better and more mature, his fan base grew as well, and before long he had millions of views online. But it was the release of his debut song, “Don’t” that put him on the map.
Letting Them Know
It was hard to get into the mainstream but in 2015 Tiller finally did it. His song “Don’t” became a hit among the online community and caught the attention of established musicians like Drake and Timbaland. They invited him to their studio and helped get his first recording deal later that year. He rereleased “Don’t” along with a new video and the single made it to number thirteen on the Billboard charts and number four on the US R&B Music charts. It also laid the groundwork for his debut album, which came out in October of that year.
Titled “T R A P S O U L,” it has since gone on to occupy the number eight position on the Billboard charts and the number two spot on the US R&B Music charts. It has also managed to sell over two hundred and fifty thousand copies to date and is going pretty strong still. In order to promote it, this amazing artist will be going out on tour soon. If you want to be part of this experience as well, then get your Bryson Tiller tickets and enjoy the show, live from the stands.
