Between the Buried and Me was formed in 2000 in North Carolina. The band comprises of the talented Tommy Giles Rogers on keyboards and vocals, Paul Waggoner on lead guitar and backing vocals, Dustie Waring on rhythm guitar, Blake Richardson on drums and last but not the least Dan Briggs on bass. All these members, with their combined talents will enthrall you all!

The band has released a total of six studio albums, including an EP, a cover album as well as a live DVD. Their albums have mostly been released through the Life Force Records and the Victory Records, until their shift to the Metal Blade in 2011.

The band's first release was a three-song demo, and included tracks like "Use of a Weapon", "What We Have Become", as well as "More of Myself to Kill." All these three tracks were recorded again for the self-titled debut album of the band that came out through Life Force Records in 2002.
