A Perfect Circle is a group from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed by the famous guitarist Billy Howerdel and Maynard James Keenan in the year of 1999. Originally the band comprised of Troy Van Leeuwen (the guitarist), Tim Alexander (the drummer) and Paz Lenchantin (the bassist). A Perfect Circle is one amongst the best in the business, having rocking fans across America and the entire world. They have over the years shown sheer class while remaining at the top spot in the music industry. The band that has been producing hits for over a decade is now setting out on a tour and will soon be taking the stage in your city. To watch them live in concert, you have to grab your A Perfect Circle tickets today.

Currently Billy Howerdel is the lead guitarist, Maynard James Keenan is the lead vocalist, Josh Freese is on the drums, Matt Mc Junkins is the bass guitarist and James Tah is on the guitar. All these are the best in the business and have proved their skills and talent in the industry. Despite having some mottled cast since foundation, the charismatic content of the numbers has remained unswerving, with Keenan writing the lyrics and Billy Howerdel as the musician.

A Perfect Circle has released a total of three famous music albums with "Mer de Noms" (Sea of Names in French) being the first of the three released in the year 2000. "Mer de Noms" is idiosyncratic in that sense that it is the top ever unveiling for a rock band, with over 188,000 copies sold in its first few days, and cementing a position at the number four spot on the "BillBoard 200". Almost immediately after recording of the album was completed, the group started its tours. At the outset, they performed the opening numbers for "Nine Inch Nails" on the Fragility v2.0 tour 2000, however they then went on a number of major tours all across the globe, together with Summersault (the Famous Canadian Festival). Keenan was always renowned through his supplementary band; he would habitually wear elongated wigs on his bald head when on stage, to differentiate himself from his persona at Tool. The album was certified by RIAA as Platinum in October 2000.

After the great success of their first album, A Perfect Circle released their second album "Thirteenth Step" in September of 2003. With this latest album came a new-fangled sound. While the first album had a deeper, heavier sound, "Thirteenth Step" was extra melodic and clear-cut. This unusual sound could be heard in the three famous numbers that came off the new album, i.e. "Blue", "The Outsider" and "Weak and powerless". Subsequent to the launch of the album, A Perfect Circle toured all the way through the U.S. till the year's last part. Then, in early 2004, the band left America to perform at shows in Australia, Europe, New Zealand and Japan.

They left for home in the middle of March and ended touring in middle of June that year. Their second album acknowledged generally affirmative reviews. "Allmusic" review avowed the album as the voice of a lyrical and musical development that in general doesn't happen until a band's third, fourth or fifth album. The appraisal that "Yahoo Music" articulated was that the album has got its part of sacred moments, but the actual infatuation spills above in the grumpy overtures where threatening peril feels seconds away.

The band released their third album in November 2004 (at the Election Day in the United States) named, "Emotive". The album features anti-war songs by renowned artists such as Joni Mitchell of "Fiddle and the Drum" and John Lennon of "Imagine". The new album was recorded with former as well as current members of the group, but is mainly the effort of Howerdel and Keenan. The hit number "Passive" was taken from the non-operational band "Tapeworm", a venture composed primarily of Keenan, "Trent Rezznor" from Nine Inch Nails, and Lohner. The hit number initially appeared by the name of "Vacant" by the band at a show in Portland in the year 2001. Their third album got diverse reviews. The "Allmusic" reviewed the album as flat and stated that it failed to heave the bar placed so soaring high by the class of their prior two releases. The Guardian as well as the RollingStones praised half of the third album.
