Legally Blonde Spokane Tickets
Legally Blonde tells the story of sorority blond girl Elle Woods, who pursues her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School to win him back, yet when delving into the intricacies of law, she finds that she can help others with her skill, & ends up defending her accused client in a murder trial. But the punch that has left fans scrambling for their Legally Blonde tickets is the irrepressible fun element introduced by the wacky Elle, & her Chihuahua, Bruiser. The musical is an adaptation of the 2001 film that starred Academy-Award winner Reese Witherspoon, & is based on the novel from Amanda Brown. Margot, Serena, & Pilar, members of UCLA’s sorority Delta Nu, are ecstatic over the engagement of their blond sorority president Elle Woods. After Elle finds a perfect dress for the occasion, she is taken to dinner by her fiancé Warner, who then drops the bombshell that he needs someone more “serious”, & breaks up. A sulking Elle then resolves to follow him to Harvard Law to show her seriousness.
Studying for her LSATs, she gains admission when she barges into the office flanked by a group of cheerleaders, proclaiming that she is motivated by love. At Harvard, her new classmates laugh at her attire, & the cold Professor Callahan is unforgiving. Elle, however, is shown a soft corner by Teaching Assistant Emmett. She makes friends with the spunky Ireland-obsessed salon beautician Paulette, to whom she goes to get her blonde hair dyed to black. Yet the apparitions of her three friends preach to her to keep her “Positivity” intact, & she drops the idea. Embarrassed by Warner’s new girlfriend Vivienne, Elle confides in to Emmett her love problems, & he advises that she should let go off the desire to please Warner. Emboldened, she beats him in a classroom debate & works on her law, taking one of the four available spots on Callahan’s internship list, alongside Vivienne & Warner. Their subject is the trial of fitness mogul Brooke Wyndham for the murder of her husband. She doesn’t trust any of the interns or Callahan, but confides in a proper alibi to Elle when alone.
At the trial, Brooke’s pool boy Nikos claims to be her lover, but is proven gay & false by a sorority-special “Bend & Snap” routine by Elle. The interns celebrate Elle’s skill in office, but when alone, Callahan forcibly kisses her, in response to which Elle slaps him. Warner gets the wrong impression & rebukes her spitefully, but Vivienne, who also saw Elle’s resistance (unlike Warner), stalls his anger. A devastated Elle prepares to leave, also rejecting Emmett’s profession of love, but is convinced otherwise by Vivienne. A revitalized Elle bins the formal attire, dons a pink dress & goes to defend Brooke, who hires her after firing Callahan. She successfully does so, when Chutney (Brooke’s stepdaughter) is tricked into admitting her crime by Elle’s knowledge of hair maintenance. Elle’s turns down a repentant Warner’s proposal, & instead successfully proposes to Emmett.
