Toby McKeehan is popularly known as TobyMac (styled tobyMac). This multi-faceted celebrity has established himself as a hip-hop and pop artist, music producer, singer-songwriter, author and recording artist. TobyMac emerged as one of the pioneers in Christian rappers. Initially he was known as a part of a vocal trio called ‘DC Talk’. When the band broke up, he decided to start his solo career. This determined artist successfully released five studio albums including Momentum in 2001, Welcome to Diverse City in 2004, Portable Sounds in 2007, Tonight in 2010 and Eye on It in 2012. With his latest album released in 2012, TobyMac became the third Christian artist who debuted on number one on the Billboard’s Top 200 chart. The Christian rock band Skillet was formed in 1996 in Tennessee. The band comprises a couple John and Korey Cooper with Jen Ledger and Seth Morrison. Their music style includes alternative rock, Christian metal, rock and more. Over the years the band has successfully released eight albums. Two of these albums Collide and Comatose were nominated for the Grammy Award. The follow-up album Awake earned a platinum certification and ranked at number two on the ‘Billboard 200’. The American Christian hip hop artist Lecrae Moore is referred to as Lecrae. This multi-talented artist has established himself as an entrepreneur, a record producer and a celebrity. Lecrae is the co-founder and co-owner of the record label company called ‘Reach Records’. Over the years, this brilliant musician has released seven studio albums and two mixtapes as a part of his solo career. On the other hand, as the leading member of the rap group “116 Clique”, he has released three studio albums and one remix album. With the release of his third solo album titled Rebel, Lecrae topped the Billboard Gospel Chart. The following album Rehab was nominated for the Grammy Award. His sixth studio album Gravity has been categorized among the most significant albums in the history of Christian hip hop. The album won the Grammy Award for “Best Gospel Album” in 2013. Lecrae has been nominated for the Dove Award fourteen times, winning four out of them.
