About Luke Bryan

 
Born as Thomas Luther Bryan in 1976, the artist was raised in Leesburg, GA. After learning to play the guitar, at the age of fourteen, Bryan started to play in local clubs with various bands. Bryan graduated from “Lee County High School” and planned to move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his passion. However, his plans were delayed due to the death of Chris, his brother.  In 2001, Luke Bryan finally moved to Nashville and immediately scored a contract as a songwriter. After writing for Travis Tritt’s album, Bryan was discovered and signed by Capitol Record for a recording deal. In 2007, Bryan released his debut single “All My Friend Say,” which reached number five spot on Billboard chart. He also wrote Billy Currington’s “Good Directions,” which ranked at number one spot for three weeks on the Billboard chart. In 2007, Bryan released his debut album “I’ll Stay Me,” that garnered positive reviews from critics as well as audiences.

The album produced tracks like “We Rode in trucks,” and “Country Man,” that entered Billboard Country charts.In 2009, Bryan released his second EP “Spring Break with All My Friends,” which contained two new songs. After the release of the EP, his fourth single came in the form of “Do I,” that was later featured on his album “Doin’ My Thing.” Luke Bryan also wrote for Lady Antebellum’s “Dave Haywood” and “Charles Kelley.” The song reached the number two spot on country singles charts. Bryan’s first Billboard chart topping single came with the release of “Rain is a good thing.” The hit song was quickly followed by another number single “Someone Else Calling You Baby” that also peaked at the Billboard chart, branding the artists as one of the most promising acts of the year.
