Rascal Flatts Eli Young Band
Their joint tour is called the “American Band Tour” because all of the participating acts are groups. Other than these two, Little Big Town and Edens Edge are also part of the concert series. The Rascal Flatts chose these groups because they are amongst their favorite bands of the present day. But while the Flatts already have a reputation to live up to, fans are excited to see how their concert will work with the other bands in the mix.
The Rascal Flatts have been part of the mainstream music since 1999. Consisting of Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus, the Flatts have eight albums. Every single album has reached platinum in sales at the minimum. Their first album was released in the year 2000 and was called “Rascal Flatts”. It was followed by “Melt” in 2002, then “Feels Like Today” in 2004. After that, “Me and My Gang” was released in 2006, followed by “Still Feels Good” which came out in 2007; a “Greatest Hits Volume 1” in 2008 and “Unstoppable” in 2009. They released all of these albums under the “Lyric Street Records”, a continuation of the “Disney Music Group”. But in 2010, “Lyric Street Records” closed down and they had to switch labels, joining “Big Machine Records”. Under this new label, their newest album “Changed” was released, which only came out in April of 2012. In their career, the Flatts have released a total of 26 singles. All of them have been in the Top 20 at the very least, if not the top 10 of the Billboard Hot Country Songs. Out of these, they have spawned eleven singles that have reached number one. The first number one track that stayed on the charts for a very long time was “Bless the Broken Road”, their version of the Marcus Hummon song. The song had enjoyed five weeks in the top spot. Their other big hit was “What Hurts the Most”, a song that did well on the pop front as well. Their newest album has also produced number one singles. The debut single, “Banjo” has done very well, as has “Come Wake Me Up”.
Also part of the Rascal Flatts Eli Young Band concert are Jon Jones, Mike Eli, Chris Thompson and James Young of the Eli Young Band. Although they have been around since 2002, they have released two studio albums with major labels, and two independent records. They finally received their first number one single “Crazy Girl” in 2011. They are currently signed to “Republic Nashville” through whom they have released their latest album, “Life at Best”. In 2011, they earned a nomination at the Academy of Country Music Awards in three prominent categories. The following year, they won an Academy of Country Music Award in the category of “Song of the Year”. Needless to say, the band has finally hit its mark big time and has had a considerably good year. Their year is about to get even better as Rascal Flatts Eli Young Band tickets sell out and fans pool in to watch their shows.
The Eli Young Band keeps songwriting their priority, even working when they are on tour. Their producers in the past have consisted of Mike Wrucke and Frank Liddell—people who have worked with other country music stars like Miranda Lambert.
They have received nominations for the Academy of Country Music Awards before as well. On the release of their first major album, they were nominated for “Top New Vocal Group or Duo”, and later as the “Top New Vocal Group”.
The “American Band Tour” is thus going to be a high-energy, country music extravaganza featuring a collaboration of the biggest bands of the genre existing today. Be sure to get Rascal Flatts Eli Young Band tickets to go see the show!
