Doo Wop is a genre of music mixed with rhythm and blues that was introduced by African American’s somewhere around 1940’s. During the 50’s and 60’s doo wop ruled the music world and was known as the mainstream genre of music. Bands such as “The Mill’s Brothers” and “The Ink Spots” were among the creators. The most hit song in the genre was “When you Dance” by The Turbans from 1955. Doo Wop was revived throughout 70’s, 80’s and 90’s with a touch of urban flavors. Two legendary singers among others that perform at the doo wop extravaganza are Kenny Vance and Charlie Thomas. Kenny Vance is not only a singer but also a music producer.
