Plot

The Book of Mormon brings to stage the journey of two young missionaries who set off to preach the locals of a Ugandan village. However, upon their arrival they discover that the villagers are actually consumed with basic problems to pay any attention to what they have come to preach. They are suffering from grave issues such as AIDS, famine and a warlord who is extremely cruel towards them.

The interesting part of the story is that only one of the two missions is actually aware of the content that the scripture of The Book of Mormon entails. Hence in a situation where they are not convinced themselves they find it harder to convince people who have several worries on their mind. They adopt various ways and techniques to persuade the villagers and in doing so several funny situations and incidents occur.
