The musical, The Little Mermaid, is an amazing stage rendition of the well-loved tale by the famed author Hans Christian Anderson. This Disney Theatrical production premiered in January 2008 and was received with popular acclaim. The Little Mermaid musical is based on the blockbuster Disney animated film The Little Mermaid, which was released in 1989. The book for the musical was penned by Doug Wright, the music is by Alan Menken and lyrics (same as the film) with added lyrics by Glenn Slater.

It is a story of wanderlust and an inner struggle to seek the other half and become whole.
