Hear Simba’s roar and the adventures of Prideland come to life at the John F. Kennedy Center’s Opera House, this season. This award winning show has been touring every year across the US and has been loved by its fans in Washington DC. It will be staged at the Kennedy Center after good four years. It has been adapted by the very famous Disney animated blockbuster movie The Lion King (1998). Directed by Julie Taymo, it came out as an amazing live version of the original story. Taymo’s direction, costumes and choreography presented the life of Simba and the Prideland in a wonderful way. It featured some award winning beautiful songs by Elton John and Tim Rice. These include "Circle of Life", "Hakunah Mata" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." It became a great entertainment for kids and adults alike.
