Disney’s Lion King – Amazing As Ever

The Tony Award winning musical Lion King is not new for the theatergoers. Raising its curtains for the first time in 1997, the musical has travelled all over the world and still hasn’t lost its charm. Many laud it for its epic opening scene, where Rafiki stands atop the Pride Rock and introduces the future king Simba to the inhabitants of the Pride Land. Against the backdrop of the powerful number “Circle of Life” by Elton John, the colorful animals make way to the stage, parading through the audience.
