A Theatrical Masterpiece

The Lion King is a work of art. It is the brainchild of Elton John who produced the score, Tim Rice who penned down the lyrics and Roger Allers & Irene Mecchi who are credited for writing the book of this musical. In June 2006, it was moved to the Minskoff Theatre where it is still running after more than 9,000 performances. Today, this musical has become the third longest-running show in the Broadway history. This production of the show won multiple Tony Awards including one for, 'Best Musical.'
