Jersey Boys is a multiple award winning Broadway musical created by Bob Crewe (lyricist) and Bob Gaudio (composer). It is based on the book with the same name by Rick Elice and Marshall Brickman. The musical dramatizes the career of the popular rock ‘n roll 60s ensemble, ‘The Four Seasons’. Each of the four members’ story Bob Gaudio (keyboardist), Tommy DeVito (lead guitarist), Frankie Valli (vocalist) and Nick Massi (bassist) is retold by the talented performers. Other characters include Frankie’s wife and daughter Mary Delgado and Francine Valli, record producer Bob Crewe and reporter Lorraine.
Jersey Boys is a two act musical with ‘Act I’ consisting of spring scene and summer scene and ‘Act 2’ comprising the fall scene and winter scene.
