The musical biography of pop icons made its debut appearance on Broadway in 2005. The spectacular performances of the musical garnered, Drama Desk Awards featuring John Lloyd Young as the ‘Outstanding Actor in a Musical’ and Steve Canyon Kennedy for the ‘Outstanding Sound Design’. The musical also won Tony Awards in 2006, Grammy Award in 2007 and Laurence Olivier Award in 2008.
