With a construction cost of 16 million US Dollars, Durham Bulls Athletic Park was built in 1995 as a baseball arena to seat 10,000 people. The venue is a fully facilitated sports arena which is designed by the same architect company who designed Coors Field, Jacobs Field and Camden Yards, Populous. Durham Bulls Athletic Park is also the home to Duke Blue Devils and the college baseball teams of North Carolina Central Eagles.
