USA has witnessed a rapid rise in the popularity of lacrosse as more and more children are opting for it as compared to the other traditional team sports. Will the Premier Lacrosse League crown a new champion this year?

The 2022 Premier Lacrosse League season is here, and fans are now wondering who will be crowned the next champion at the end of what promises to be another pulsating campaign. The league was formed in the year 2018 and comprises of eight teams and the first champion was crowned in 2019. In the first season, the Whipsnakes LC won the Premier Lacrosse League in overtime by beating the Redwoods LC. They repeated the feat next year as well as they beat Chaos LC 12-6.

The Whipsnakes LC made it to their third straight Premier Lacrosse League championship game in 2021. They faced the Chaos LC, the team they beat in 2020 once again. They came up short this time around as Chaos LC avenged their defeat and won their maiden Premier Lacrosse League title.

Will a new champion be crowned this year or will the established order reign supreme once again? This is a very important question which will be answered once the season comes to a close.
