The Cowboys began life as a football franchise in 1960 when they entered the NFL as an expansion team. Before that, there hadn’t been an NFL outfit south of Washington since the disbanding of the Dallas Texans.

During the decade before the AFL-NFL merger, the Cowboys won the NFL Eastern Division once and the NFL Eastern Conference twice. Following the merger, they really came into their own. Between 1970 and 1979, the Cowboys were victorious in 105 regular season encounters. This was the highest of any NFL team during that period.

Moreover, they only missed out on the playoffs once in the 1970s. The team’s first two Super Bowl triumphs also came during this period. In total, the Cowboys won 7 Division championships, 5 Conference titles and 2 Super Bowl crowns in the decade after the merger.

Dallas Cowboys Vs Washington Commanders Tickets

Sports Illustrated has declared the Cowboys-Redskins rivalry as the greatest of all time in the NFL as well as one of the greatest in sports. With 8 Super Bowl wins between them, these two sides have been members of the same conference since 1961. The Cowboys lead the regular season head-to-head meetings between these two behemoths, while the Commanders are ahead in the playoff clashes. Dallas Cowboys Vs Green Bay Packers Tickets

Things began to heat up between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers during the second half of the 2000s. A lot of the games between these two teams began to have a major impact on the postseason picture and that added an extra layer of animosity to the proceedings.

Dallas Cowboys Vs. Philadelphia Eagles Tickets

This rivalry goes back around three decades. Since both sides have been regular contestants for the NFC East title, there has been a lot of hostility between the two sets of fans. Will this season add another chapter to this famous rivalry? The question will be answered soon.

Dallas Cowboys Vs New York Giants Tickets

This is somewhat a modern NFL rivalry. In the year 2003, Bill Parcells became the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. He was replaced by Wade Phillips who led the Cowboys to the division crown in 2007. In the divisional playoff round, the Cowboys came up short against the Giants, who would eventually go on to lift the Super Bowl.
