Pitbull began his career in rapping after graduating from the Miami Coral Park High School in Miami, Florida and signing to Luke Records, which belonged to Luther Campbell. He issued his debut album,
M.I.A.M.I in the year 2004, which went on to become a considerable success. The name of the album was short for Money Is A Major Issue. Produced by the Diaz Brothers and Lil Jon, the lead single of the album,
Culo reached number eleven on the Hot Rap Tracks chart as well as the thirty second spot on the Billboard Hot Hundred. Some of the other tracks from the record included hits such as
