Meat Loaf Tickets Tickets

Combining rip-roaring guitar-work with a set of steely vocal cords that once blew the fuse on a recording monitor at his first song recording, Meat Loaf has established himself as a seasoned rock performer. Meat Loaf became famous worldwide with the Bat Out of Hell trilogy, a project that won him a Grammy & stretched over three decades. The first album of the trilogy established his name, going on to become the fifth highest selling album of all time at 43 million copies. While rock fans were immediately won over by the no holds barred mind-numbing rock & the artful album covers, the immensely talented musician also transformed into a successful stage & film actor, having played himself in numerous roles. The rocker brings his legendary hard-hitting numbers to Great Britain, where Meat Loaf tickets are definitely in demand.

About Meat Loaf Tickets

Marvin Lee Aday was born in 1947 in Dallas, Texas, to a schoolteacher (& gospel singer), & had to endure a rough upbringing from his alcoholic father's side. Marvin graduated from Thomas Jefferson High & moved to the University of North Texas, having shown an interest in theater at a young age with successful school/college productions. After a bruising encounter with his father in a drunken rage, Marvin left for California to start the Meat Loaf Soul band, & became known by that name as well. Opening for various acts at concerts & regularly changing names, the band struggled for recognition even despite their debut single "Once Upon a Time" making waves on the regional circuit. It was when Meat Loaf teamed up with Stoney Murphy, his co-star from the original Broadway production of Hair, that he saw mild success from the one-off album What You See is What You Get. It was a Motown production, & Meat Loaf tried to start solo but struggled. After further theatrical success with More Than You Deserve (where he met long-time songwriter Jim Steinman) & The Rocky Horror Show, Meat Loaf finally broke loose in 1977 with the smash hit solo album Bat Out of Hell. Steinman's contribution was immense & his work on the follow-up album Dead Ringer made Meat Loaf a star. But Steinman's feeling of being sidelined in Meat Loaf's Neverland Express Band combined with the singer's own vocal & addiction issues to start a lean patch in the 80s. Three straight albums bombed, yet Meat Loaf was to launch one of the most astonishing comebacks in music history with Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell in 1993. The album garnered praise & major awards, & carved out a revival through the 90s. Meat Loaf was diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia in 2003, but that did not dampen the success of Bat out of Hell III: the Monster is Loose. Meat Loaf has cut down his tours, yet his new album release has got fans with Meat Loaf tickets buzzing again.

"Who is the Leader of the People?" was the first popular single off Stoney & Meat Loaf's album. After his partnership with Steinman blossomed, Bat Out of Hell spawned the hit title song along with "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth" & "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" en route to going 14x Platinum in the USA & becoming fifth on the all-time list. "Dead Ringer for Love", a duet with Cher, contributed to Dead Ringer's #1 chart listing. Three albums failed successively before the chart-topping 5x Platinum Bat II produced the Grammy-winning "I'd Do Anything for Love". It was backed up by "I'd Lie for You" & "Not a Dry Eye in the House" from Welcome to the Neighborhood, & the hits continued with Bat III, whose single "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" reached the summit in 2007. Meat Loaf's Hang Cool Teddy Bear album was released in May.

Meat Loaf has entertained audiences worldwide on his tours. From his early struggles where he made his name playing in pubs to the sold-out concerts of the famous Hair of the Dog Tour, Meat Loaf's dedication to quality live performances is unquestionable. The scintillating raw energy evident in his songs will work up all present for his 16th November London show.

Sheer rock fanatics are a rare breed nowadays. Drawing from the hard rock & catchy lyrics of Meat Loaf's songs, a generation has been inspired. And if you want to get swept away in the delirium surrounding his next show, all you have to do is grab Meat Loaf tickets.
