About Brett Eldredge


Born to Robin Beth and Christopher Eldredge in Paris, Illinois, Brett Eldredge is one of the emerging music sensations of America. The 29-year old artist has gained considerable fame in country music and has also been writing songs on his own. Inspired by legends like Ronnie Dunn, Ray Charles and Frank Sinatra, the talented Eldredge developed a taste for music quite early in life. Although he couldn’t immediately hook up with the guitar and sound system that his parents got him for his birthday, he later admitted that they proved to be the foundation stone for his initial music training. At the age of 15, Eldredge was in high demand for local performances and had been addicted to “…the feel of the crowd”, as he puts it.


Inspired by his cousin singer Terry Eldredge of The Grascals, Brett Eldredge got enrolled in the Middle Tennessee State University to study the vocal stylings of famous country singers. His love for music eventually carried him to Nashville where the singer met producer-publisher Byron Gallimore who signed him to his publishing firm and encouraged him to write songs. In late 2010, Brett Eldredge signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and released his debut song “Raymond”.  A heart-rending single, “Raymond” was released in September 2010 and created an instant buzz among the American music elite.


When “Raymond” notched number 52 at the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and peaked at 23, there was no stopping this talented youth. Brett Eldredge released his second track “It Ain’t Gotta Be love” which ranked number 46 and was well-received by the fans and critics alike. However, his major breakthrough came with his third single “Don’t Ya” in October 2012. The platinum certified track was among the top 20 of the Hot Country Songs and was his first to make it to the Billboard Hot 100. It also topped the Country Airplay Chart in August 2013. The success of the trio also testifies the artist’s songwriting abilities. The lyrics epitomize an astute understanding of the mystery of romance and poignancy. The artist wrote the song “Adios Old Friend” for the popular TV show “Nashville” and was also featured in the honored songwriter series of Country Music Association in New York City. Famous country singer Trace Adkins is also known to have sung the track “Watch the World End” written by Brett Eldredge.


Brett Eldredge became a star following the spectacular public response he received on his songs. His debut album “Bring You Back” hit the shelves in August 2013 under Atlantic Nashville. The release of the album earned critical acclaim and propelled Eldredge to stardom as sales crossed 150,000 units. The album bagged five out of five stars from Digital Journal, four from Roughstock and pulled off a B+ from the Country Weekly. It ascended to the second position on the US Country Charts and ranked number 11 on the US Billboard 200. The gold certified single “Beat of the Music” topped the Country Airplay Chart followed by “Mean to Me” that topped the same chart in March 2015.


Brett Eldredge undoubtedly has one of the most flourishing music careers of the 21st century.
