About La Tocada

If you are a fan of Enanitos Verdes then you are in for a treat at the La Tocada this summer. They will be performing at this thrilling event this year. Enanitos Verdes is a rock band belonging from Argentina. It was formed in the year 1979 in the city of Mendoza. Throughout their career they have been placed in important positions at the Argentinian music charts, in Latin America and the Caribbean. Their music revolves around Spanish rock, Latin Rock, Folk Rock and Hard Rock. The band is made up of John Paul Staiti, Jota Morelli, Felipe Staiti and Marciano Cantero.
The first album of the band was called Homonymously Los Enanitos Verdes. This first album featured the song I'm still singing. The track ravaged the radio stations quickly, becoming a "classic" of Argentine rock. In the year 1985, Embrioni left the band. In 1986 they released their second album, entitled Trial. This too became a raging success. Ever since then, there has been no looking back for this amazing group.
Another talented performer who is going to grace the stage at the La Tocada this year is Luis Alberto Cuevas Olmedo, better known as Beto Cuevas. He was born in Santiago on the 12th of September, 1967. He is not only a skilled singer but he also an extremely talented artist, painter and performer. He was the lead singer of the now disbanded Chilean band called The Law. He began his solo career when he released his album Stage Fright in 2008 and then went on to releease Transformation in 2012.
His music is mostly Pop and Pop Rock. He plays the rhythm guitar and keyboard along with singing. After Beto made his debut as a singer with his first album with The Law, he quickly becoming the voice of the band. Soon they released their second album called Double opposite. This too became highly successful. After that, they issued countless singles and albums.
Vilma Palma e Vampiros is also going to be performing this year at La Tocada. They are also a rock band from Argentina. The group was founded in September 1990 in Rosario by Mario Gomez, Gerardo Pugliani, Jorge Risso and Luis Sanchez. Their genres of music are Rock and Pop. Soon after they were formed, the record company called Barca Records offered them a national contract, with which they published their first album entitled Vilma Palma e Vampiros in the year 1992. The sales of this record exceeded one million copies, getting a gold as well as platinum certification.
One of the most popular song of the record was called Pachanga. It became a big hit in Argentina as well as several Latin American countries which led them to cross borders and give concerts in several countries in the region such as Chile, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay. In 1993, they recorded the band's second album called 3980. This won them fans in Mexico and South America and became a big success.
