About Summerfest Beach Boys Milwaukee Tickets

Beach Boys performed psychedelic rock, pop, and surf rock pertaining to Southern Californian cultural elements like cars, beach surfing, and romance. The Wilson family’s teenager Brian taught his brothers Dennis and Carl background harmonies in secret late-night sessions. Brian was influenced by vocal groups and his pianist/record producer father Murry. He got together with cousin Mike Love and classmate Al Jardine, a folk guitarist. The quintet took up the name ‘The Pendletones’ with Brian as the creative songwriting hub. They auditioned for Hite and Dorinda Morgan, and only on the second chance did they impress with “Surfin’”. It was released on Candix Records in 1961 under the “Beach Boys” name after a mistake by a promotion worker.
Beach Boys have sold over 100 million records. Nine of their 30 studio and 33 compilation albums have multi-Platinum certification. They hold an American record 36 Top 40 hits. The album ‘Pet Sounds’ and the single “Good Vibrations” are considered among the greatest-ever musical pieces.
Even after Brian’s mid-60s nervous breakdown stopped his touring, Beach Boys have been relentless travelers, winning crowds everywhere. The Beach Boys Milwaukee show will arrive on 1st July.
