During this time he met the producer Jay Joyce and the two started recording demos. In early 2006, Eric Church released his debut single, How ‘Bout You, came out in 2006 and became part of the Top 20 country hits. His debut album, titled “Sinners Like Me”, came out the same year and became a commercial hit.
