About The 5 Browns Tickets

Formed in 2004, The 5 Browns are a classical piano musical group comprising five siblings. Born in Houston, Texan to Keith and Lisa Brown, these five dynamic siblings are Desirae, Deondra, Gregory, Melody and Ryan in descending order of their age. At a very young age of three, they began their piano study with Yelena Kurinets. All five of the siblings attended the musical conservatory Juilliard and studied with Yoheved Kaplinsky. So from the very beginning, they were all set for a musical journey ahead and their extensive learning of piano at a young age paved their way towards a successful career as a unique band in future.
The quintet became the first ever family of five siblings on their way to enter the American music scene in 2002. Termed as the “Fab Five” by the People Magazine, they were signed with RCA Red Seal label under which they released their four albums. Their fifth album was released under E1 Music in 2010.Their first commercial recording was reviewed by Tom Manoff from National Public Radio where the group was noted for their talent and capacity to produce such amazing works. Until now, they have completed the journey of five album releases where three of these albums have been ranked as number one on the Billboard Magazine’s Classical Album chart.
The exclusive Steinway artists have been under constant media coverage and limelight due to the fabulous pieces they have performed so far. Television shows like Oprah and 60 Minutes, Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The View To The Martha Steward Show and many others. The Browns have been very active touring ever since they released their first album. They have performed in a number of venues such as the Suntory Hall in Japan, Grand National Theatre in China, Symphony Hall in Chicago, The Kimmel Centre in Philadelphia and lots more. Moreover, they have collaborated as a quintet and on an individual basis with orchestras like National Symphony Orchestra, the New Jersey Symphony, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra de chamber de  Paris amongst others. They even published a book titled Life Between the Keys, an account of their personal experiences in 2009. They were also featured in a PBS TV special by the name of “The 5 Browns in Concert” which aired on PBS stations throughout the United States.
In 2011, they premiered in a five-piano concerto written by Nico Muhly and directed by Maestro James Conlon at the Ravinia Festival with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The quintet is working upon their future releases as well as live performances and will be appearing on television shows as well.
