About Pepper

In 1996, when the high school friends Bollinger, Williams and Wassman graduated, they decided to form a music band. They band moved to SoCal in 1999 to learn and experiment with reggae music. After the release of their first album Give'n It, they got the chance to perform at Wraped Tour in 2001. Their dance music and hypnotizing beats were strong enough to attract loads of people and it was during then that they discovered their live performance skills. Their serene and smooth voices were especially appreciated by the critics. Very soon, they developed interest in live show and did many concerts before settling down to produce their second album Kona Town. It is only true that these live tours are the reason why Pepper earned the status of an influential rock band in their early years. Most of their fans would agree that listening to them live is actually more fun.

The current lineup of the band includes Kaleo Wassman, Yesod Williams and Bret Bollinger. Wasman is on the vocals and also plays guitar, Williams is on drums and Bollinger plays bass and does vocals. Band's discography includes 6 studio albums, 2 DVDs, 1 live album, 1 EP, 2 Demos and 6 compilation albums. There first album 'Give'n It' was released in 2000. "Sitting on the Curb", "Ho's", ""Loving Arms" "Forever" and "Your Way" are the songs which helped the band get itself registered in the music world. Their 2nd album Kona Town 2002 though couldn't reach top tiers on charts but several songs from this album became fan favorite for live performance. Some of them are "Stone Love", "Dry Spell", "Office", "Give it Up", "Trade Winds", "The Good Thing" and "Tongues".

Pepper released their 3rd album In With the Old in 2004. It was this album that took the band to Billboard charts. The tracks "Use Me", "Ashes", "Keep Your Head Banging", "Love Affair", "Are you Down", "Seven Weeks" "Wanna Know You" and "Look What I Found" are a few of their tracks which even after so many years sound fresh and interesting. In With the Old reached the 18th spot on Billboard Top Independent Albums of year 2004. No Shame, 4th studio album by Pepper brought along the beach party fun for their fans, it contained the songs "No Control", "Your Face", "Crazy Love", "Lost in America" and "Out of My Face". No Shame was followed by Pink Crustaceans and Good Vibrations which was released in 2008. It contained the following popular tracks: "Davey Jones Locker", "Do Something" and "Wet Dreams".

The band has just recently released their 6th album Stitches and currently doing live tours for its promotion. The song "Drunk Girl" from this album has already become a popular party song among the youngsters. Some of their tracks are featured in video games, films and television series. But the fact remains that most of the fans they have made are through their wild live performance. Good thing is that they have a variety to offer in their music. You want love songs and they have it for you, you are in mood to party and Pepper's song will complete it, and even if you are in hardcore swearing state of mind, they know the music you would want to listen to.
