It has also been home to renowned musicians such as Paul Sanchez, Sonia Tetlow, Regina Zernay, Paul Clement, Rob Savoy, Steve Walters, Mary LaSang, Jonathan Pretus and Vance DeGeneres. The band is best known for songs such as Everybody Loves Jill, Love Of My Life, Disconnected, Easy, Jenny Says and How Do You Tell Someone.
Cowboy Mouth’s songs have been part of the soundtracks of many a movie, including Meet the Robinsons, a Disney animated movie, Half Baked and The Underneath, a movie which also starred them performing as a band. They often tour the US, stopping at various venues and performing concerts whose cheap Cowboy Mouth tickets are often sold out. One of their albums, Voodoo Shoppe, is a tribute to New Orleans, released after the Hurricane Katrina and which features a number of emotional songs. Incidentally, they had begun recording the album before the Hurricane Katrina, and their studio was hit by it, causing them to record the album again.
In 2006, Cowboy Mouth performed their song, The Avenue live on The Ellen DeGeneres Show during Mardi Gras Day. In 2007, they released a live DVD, a recording of their performance in Hollywood. In 2008, they released the album Fearless and then performed live on the TV show, Live with Regis and Kelly. In 2011, they were inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
Cowboy Mouth has released ten studio albums to date as well as nine EPs and live albums. It has also released one single and starred in three movies, including The Name of the Band Is Cowboy Mouth, released in 2007. They are a band to see live via Cowboy Mouth tickets.
